Cultural Awareness – Working with our Children and Young People: Course overview

Course Outline
Designed to provide those who work directly with Indigenous children and young people, this workshop utilises an interactive, experiential learning model to enhance understanding of Indigenous culture.
This one day workshop will provide an understanding of the diversity of Indigenous culture and how history relates to the health and wellbeing of First Nations People.
Learners will develop skills to engage with Indigenous children and young people in a culturally safe way.

This course is designed for those working in any role where they are required to have direct contact with Indigenous children and young people.

Delivery mode
Interactive workshop are delivered on-line using Zoom by an experienced and qualified Indigenous facilitator.
Face to face on-site workshops are available.

All students completing this course receive a Statement of Attendance which lists the course outcomes.
